日本経済新聞社イベントプライバシーポリシー
※2023年1月24日までにイベントの申し込みをされた方には旧プライバシーポリシーが適用されます。
日本経済新聞社は、イベント参加者の個人情報を日本経済新聞社イベントプライバシーポリシー（以下「本ポリシー」）に従って取り扱います。
第1章に加え、EUおよび英国にお住まいの方は第2章を、米国カリフォルニア州にお住いの方は第3章をそれぞれご確認ください。
なお、日経IDを用いてイベントに申し込む場合、その個人情報は本ポリシーではなく日経IDプライバシーポリシーが適用されます。
第1章 本則
第1条 定義
(1) 日経とは、日本経済新聞社をいいます。
(2) 本イベントとは、日経が主催・共催するイベント、セミナー、フォーラム、シンポジウムおよび展示会等をいいます。本イベントにはインターネットで配信されるオンラインイベント、および、会場等で開催されるリアルイベントがあります。またこれらを併せて実施するものがあります。
(3) 参加申込フォームとは、日経が参加者から本イベントの申込みを受け付けるために設置するウェブフォームおよび参加申込用紙をいいます。本イベントを配信するプラットフォームへのアカウント登録フォームも含みます。
(4) アンケートフォームとは、日経が本イベントの参加者から同イベントのご感想およびご意見を収集するために設置するウェブフォームまたは本イベント会場で配布するアンケート用紙をいいます。
(5) 協賛社等とは、本イベントに協賛している企業、団体および機関等をいいます。本イベントが展示会の場合は、出展している企業等をいいます。協賛社等は本イベントの告知ページに掲載されています。
(6) 告知ページとは、本イベントの開催を告知し、本イベントの概要等を掲示している日経のウェブサイトおよび紙面広告等をいいます。
第2条 取得する個人情報
日経は、本イベントの参加者から次の個人情報を取得します。
1. 登録情報
参加者が参加申込フォームに記入・提出していただくお名前、性別、年代、住所、メールアドレス、電話番号、業種、お勤め先などの情報です。
2. 参加データ
(1) オンラインイベントの場合、イベント配信プラットフォームに参加者がアクセスした日時、閲覧したURL、資料ダウンロードなどの操作内容、視聴時間等のデータ等で、当該参加者の登録情報と紐づけられたものを指します。
このような紐づけを行うことが技術的に不可能なアクセスデータは、「参加データ」には該当せず、クッキーポリシーが適用されます。
(2) リアルイベントの場合、参加者が会場の受付やブースなどで行った本人確認または参加証QRコードの読み取りなどで記録された、参加者の入出場・動向データを指します。
3. アンケート回答データ
アンケートフォームに記入していただいたお名前、メールアドレス、その他質問事項に対する回答などのデータです。イベント配信プラットフォームにログインした状態で提出していただいたアンケート回答および質問チャット内容など、登録情報と紐づけられるものも含みます。匿名アンケートの回答はこの「アンケート回答データ」には該当しません。
第3条 個人情報の利用目的
1. 日経は、個人情報を次の利用目的を達成するために必要な範囲内で利用します。
(1) 本イベントの申込み受付の確認、参加方法の説明、日程変更、キャンセルおよびアンケート依頼など本イベントに関するご連絡
(2) 本イベントに関するお問い合わせの対応
(3) 本イベントの資料、参加証および請求書等の送付
(4) 本イベントの配信用プラットフォームおよび会場受付における参加資格の確認
(5) 本イベントの協賛社等への提供（参加申込フォームまたはアンケートフォームにその旨の記載がある場合に限ります。）
(6) 景品の抽選および送付ならびに景品に関するご連絡
(7) 参加者の属性およびアンケート回答を利用して本イベントの成果を分析し、新しいイベントの企画・開発に役立てること。
(8) 参加者の興味・関心に合わせた広告配信
(9) 日経および日経グループの商品、サービスおよびイベント等に関するご案内
2. 日経が、ご提供いただいた個人情報を前項の利用目的達成に必要な範囲を超えて使用する場合、日経はあらかじめ個々の参加者から同意を取得します。
3. 日経は、本条記載の利用目的のために必要がある限り、または法令上の必要がある限り参加者の個人情報を保持しますが、これらの必要性がなくなった場合には、速やかにこれを消去します。
第4条 第三者提供
1. 日経は、本イベントの協賛社等に対し、参加者からあらかじめ同意を得たうえで、個人情報を提供する場合があります。この提供を行う場合、参加申込フォームまたはアンケートフォームにその旨を明示し、提供先企業等の名称およびプライバシーポリシーを掲示します。
2. 本イベントの中には協賛社等に対する第三者提供に同意していただくことを、参加申込みの条件としているものがあります。ご了承のうえお申し込みください。
3. 協賛社等における個人情報の取扱方法については、当該協賛社等に直接お問い合わせください。日経は、協賛社等における個人情報の利用に関して、責任を負うものではありません。
第5条 匿名加工情報
1. 個人情報を特定の個人を識別できないように加工し、復元できないようにした情報（以下「匿名加工情報」といいます）を作成する場合があります。これに含まれる個人情報はご提供いただいた項目のすべてが含まれます。
2. 匿名加工情報を記録した電子ファイルを電子メールに添付する方法またはサーバーにアップロードする方法で、協賛社等の第三者に提供する場合があります。
第6条 法人・団体・代理登録者による登録情報の取り扱い
1. 法人・団体等を通じてお申込みいただいた場合、個人情報につき当該法人・団体等の担当者から以下のような依頼または問い合わせを受けたときは、特に参加者に通知せずに対応を行うことがあります。
(1) 参加申込みのキャンセルおよび変更の依頼を受けた場合
(2) 本イベントへの参加の有無や状況等について問い合わせを受けた場合
(3) その他、前項に準じて通常許容される範囲の依頼を受けた場合
2. 本イベント参加料のお支払いに関して、当該法人・団体等または参加者本人に確認および督促等の連絡をする場合があります。法人・団体等を通じてお申込みいただく場合は、これらにつき予めご了承ください。
第7条 問合せ窓口
個人情報に関するご質問および苦情等は、お問い合わせフォームにてご連絡ください。また、個人情報に関する開示、訂正および利用停止の請求手続は、「情報開示手続き方法やお問い合わせ、苦情対応窓口」をご参照ください。
第2章 EUおよび英国にお住いの参加者
EU（欧州連合加盟国および欧州経済領域協定に基づきアイスランド、リヒテンシュタインおよびノルウェーを含む、欧州連合をいう）および英国にお住まいの参加者の個人情報に関しては、第1章に加えこの第2章が適用されます。なお、日本は欧州委員会から個人情報の保護が十分になされているとして十分性認定を受けております。
第8条 取得する個人情報
1. 日経は、第2条に記載する登録情報、参加データおよびアンケート回答データのほか、告知ページおよび配信プラットフォームにおけるアクセスデータをクッキーという技術などを利用して収集しています。
2. アクセスデータの具体的種類や利用目的はクッキーポリシーに記載のとおりです。また、告知ページの中にはクッキー同意設定ツールを提供しているものがあります。その場合は当該ツールを利用して利用目的を確認したり、収集を停止させたりすることができます。
第9条 同意などに基づく取り扱いおよび同意の撤回権
1. 参加者は、日経への同意の意思表示を行うことによって、日経による個人情報の取り扱いについて同意したこととなり、日経は、参加者のかかる同意に基づいて、参加者の個人情報を取り扱います。ただし、参加者はかかる同意をいつでも撤回することができます。撤回権を行使するには、第13条記載のお問い合わせ窓口にご連絡ください。
2. 16歳未満の参加者が本イベントを利用するにあたっては、保護者の方に本ポリシーに同意をしていただくか、保護者の方から許可を得たうえで本ポリシーに同意していただく必要があります。
第10条 個人情報提供の必要性
参加者に提供していただく個人情報は、本イベントに参加していただくために必要なものですので、ご提供いただけない参加者は本イベントにご参加いただけない場合があります。
第11条 個人情報の域外移転
日経は利用目的の達成のために、参加者の個人情報を、日本を含むEU域外の国に移転して取り扱う場合があります。EU域外の国においてはGDPRと同様のデータ主体の権利が認められない場合がありますが、日経は参加者の個人情報をGDPRに基づく標準契約条項の締結等により、参加者の個人情報の保護に関する十分な措置が確保されることを担保いたします。
第12条 参加者の権利
1. 参加者は、個人情報の(1)確認、(2)訂正・追加・削除・データポータビリティ権の行使、(3)利用停止および(4)第三者への提供停止の手続を行うことができます。
2. これらの権利行使により参加者が差別的に取り扱われることはありません。
3. 上記の権利を行使する場合は、第13条のお問い合わせ窓口までご連絡ください。なお、直接来社いただいてのお申し出はお受けできませんのでご了承ください。
4. 参加者は、参加者に関連する個人情報の取り扱いにつき管轄を有する各国データ保護当局に対して異議を申し立てる権利を有します。

第3章 米国カリフォルニア州にお住まいの参加者
米国カリフォルニア州にお住いの参加者の個人情報の取り扱いに関しては、カリフォルニア州消費者プライバシー法（California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018）およびカリフォルニア州プライバシー権法（California Privacy Rights Act of 2020）(以下総称して「CPRA」といいます）の定めに従い、第1章に加えこの第3章が適用されます。
第15条 個人情報に関する権利
参加者は、日経に対し、個人情報の収集および利用に関して、以下の権利を行使することができます。
1. 個人情報の開示請求権
参加者は、CPRAに従い、日経に対して過去12か月間に日経が収集、販売、共有、開示、または使用した個人情報について、次の事項を開示することを請求する権利があります。
(1) 個人情報の種類
(2) 個人情報の収集方法の種類
(3) 個人情報を収集、販売または共有する際の日経の事業目的または商業目的
(4) 個人情報を開示、販売または共有する第三者の種類
(5) 各第三者に対して開示、販売または共有した個人情報の種類
(6) 参加者について収集した個人情報のうち特定の部分
2. 個人情報の削除請求権
参加者は、日経が参加者から収集して保持した個人情報について日経に削除することを請求する権利があります。
3. 個人情報の訂正請求権
参加者は、個人情報の性質および個人情報を処理する目的を考慮して、参加者の不正確な個人情報を保持する日経に対して、そのような不正確な個人情報を訂正するように請求する権利があります。
4. 個人情報の販売および共有の中止請求権（オプトアウト権）
参加者は、日経に対して個人情報の販売および共有の中止を請求する権利があります。日経は、満16歳未満のお客様の個人情報であることを実際に知りながら、当該個人情報の販売についての積極的な承認を得ずに販売または共有することはいたしません。
5. 差別的取り扱いの禁止に関する権利
日経は、参加者がCPRAに基づく権利を行使したことを理由に差別的な取り扱いを行うことはありません。
6. センシティブ個人情報の利用制限請求権
本イベントが日経の運営するイベント配信プラットフォームで開催される場合、日経は参加者の同プラットフォームのアカウント情報を取得します。アカウント情報は、CPRAの定めるセンシティブ個人情報に該当し、参加者は日経に対しその利用をサービスの提供に必要なものに限ることを要求することができます。もっとも、日経は当該アカウント情報をイベント配信プラットフォームにおけるユーザー認証にのみ利用しており、この利用は本イベントに参加していただくために必須のものです。また、当該アカウント情報のパスワードは当該プラットフォームのシステムにハッシュ化して保管されているため、日経もパスワード原文を知ることはできません。
7. 各請求権の行使方法
CPRAに基づく開示請求権、削除請求権および訂正請求権を行使する参加者は、お問い合わせフォームにてご連絡ください。
上記各権利の行使は、参加者ご本人およびその代理人のみが行うことができます。その場合、参加者および代理人は日経に対して直接、参加者本人であることまたは正当な代理権を受けた代理人であることを証明する情報を提出する必要があります。手続きに関しては「情報開示手続き方法やお問い合わせ、苦情対応窓口」をご覧ください。
オプトアウト権については第17条をご覧ください。
第16条 収集した個人情報
1. 日経は、過去12か月間において、第2条に記載する登録情報、参加データおよびアンケート回答データのほか、告知ページおよび配信プラットフォームにおけるアクセスデータをクッキーという技術などを利用して収集しています。
2. アクセスデータの種類や利用目的はクッキーポリシーに記載のとおりです。また、告知ページの中にはクッキー同意設定ツールを提供しているものがあります。その場合は当該ツールを利用して利用目的を確認したり、収集を停止させたりすることができます。
第17条 第三者への販売、共有または開示およびこれらのオプトアウト
日経は、過去12か月間において、協賛社等および広告配信事業者などに対して第2条記載の個人情報を販売および共有しています。
(1) 協賛社等に対し参加者の個人情報を販売する場合は、その都度、事前に参加者から同意を頂いています。一旦同意したもののこれを撤回する場合は、お問い合わせフォーム（Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information）にてご連絡ください。
(2) 広告配信事業者に対し告知ページおよび配信プラットフォームのアクセスデータを共有している場合があります。共有の目的およびオプトアウト方法に関する情報はクッキーポリシーを参照してください。また、告知ページの中にはクッキー同意設定ツールを提供しているものがあります。その場合は当該ツールを利用してオプトアウトすることができます。

Nikkei Event Privacy Policy
This privacy policy applies to the events which link to this policy and are organized or co-organized by Nikkei Inc.. This privacy policy does not apply to the handling of personal information of Nikkei ID users. For the handling of personal information of Nikkei ID users, Nikkei ID Privacy Policy shall apply.
References in this privacy policy to “Nikkei”, “we”, “us”, “our” or similar refer to the Nikkei Inc. and references in this privacy policy to “you” or “participant(s)” refer to the person completing the Event Registration Form (as defined below).
Chapter 1 sets forth the policy for handling the personal information of all participants. Chapter 2 sets forth the policy for handling the personal information we collect from each participant residing in the European Union and the United Kingdom (U.K.). Chapter 3 sets forth the policy for handling the personal information we collect from each participant residing in the State of California.
Chapter 1 Handling of Personal Information of All Participants
Article 1 Definitions
(1) Announcement Page refers to Nikkei’s website and/or print advertisements etc. that announce the Event and post the outline of the Event.
(2) Event(s)means events, seminars, forums, symposiums, exhibitions, etc. organized or co-organized by Nikkei. This event includes the Online Event distributed over the internet, the Offline Event held at the venue or the event held by both ways.
(3) Event Registration Form means the electronic form and paper form made by Nikkei for participants to register for the Event. It also includes an account registration form for the online event platform.
(4) Nikkei means Nikkei Inc..
(5) Survey Form means a form made by Nikkei to collect comments and opinions concerning the Event from participants through online digital forms or paper forms.
(6) Sponsors refer to companies, organizations, institutions, etc. that support the Event. For an exhibition, Sponsors may refer to the exhibiting companies. You may find more information on Sponsors from the event announcement page.
Article 2 Personal Information We Collect
We collect the following personal information about you.
1. Registration information – such as name, gender, age, address, e-mail address, phone number, industry, company name and other information you submit by Event Registration Forms.
2. Participation data
(1) In the case of an Online Event, it refers to the date and time when participants accessed the Event via website, browsing history, internet operation details such as materials downloaded by participants, viewing time, and other information which could be attributed to a natural person by use of the registration information. For those data that the data subject is not or no longer identifiable, ourCookie Policy shall apply.
(2) In the case of an Offline Event, it refers to the entry/exit/movement data of participants recorded following verification through the QR code or through a human check at the reception desk or booths.
3. Survey data – such as your name, e-mail address, and other answers to the questions that you filled out in the form. It also includes information which could be attributed to a natural person by use of registration information. Survey data shall not include anonymous survey responses.
Article 3 Purpose of use of personal information
1. We use your personal information for purposes which may include:
(1) providing you with information about the Event including confirmation of registration for the Event, how to participate in the Event, schedule changes, cancellations, etc.
(2) responding to your inquiries
(3) sending materials, participation certificates, invoices, or the like related to the Event
(4) confirming qualified participation online or offline
(5) sharing your personal information with Sponsors or other third parties (only in the cases that are expressly stated on Event Registration Forms or Survey Forms)
(6) running competitions or prize draws, sending prizes or the like to you and contact for relevance.
(7) conducting analysis of the Event, planning and developing new events based on your survey responses and attribute information.
(8) providing you with advertising information you may be interested in.
(9) providing you with other information on Nikkei and Nikkei Group products, services, events, etc.
2. In the event that Nikkei uses the provided personal information beyond the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use set forth in the preceding paragraph, Nikkei will obtain prior consent from each participant.
3. Nikkei will retain the personal information of participants as long as it is necessary for the purposes of use described in this article or as long as it is legally required.
Article 4 Who We Share Your Personal Information with
1. Nikkei may share your personal information with Sponsors after obtaining prior consent from you by providing you with the names and privacy policies of Sponsors on the Event Registration Form or Questionnaire Form.
2. Some of these events require that you agree to the provision of personal information to the third party as a condition for applying for participation. Please be aware of this before applying.
3. Please contact the Sponsor or other third parties directly regarding the handling of personal information by such Sponsor or third parties. Nikkei is not responsible for the use of personal information by the Sponsor or other third parties.
Article 5 Anonymous Information
1. Personal information set forth in Article 2 may be rendered anonymous in such manner that the information subject is not or no longer identifiable (hereinafter referred to as "Anonymous Information").
2. We may provide Anonymous Information to Sponsors or other third parties by e-mail or by uploading it to a server.
Article 6 Handling of Registration Information Provided by Corporations, Groups, and Agent Registrants
1. If an application is made by a corporation, organization or other legal persons (“Your Organization”), and the following requests or inquiries regarding personal information are received from Your Organization, we may respond without notifying you.
(1) When we received a request for cancellation or change of application for participation;
(2) When we received an inquiry regarding the presence, absence or status of participation in the Event; or
(3) Other requests that are reasonable.
2. We may contact you or Your Organization for confirmation and reminders regarding the payment of the participation fee for the Event. Please be aware of this in advance when applying through Your Organization.
Article 7 Inquiry Desk
If you have any requests regarding your personal information or any questions with regard to these practices, please contact us through this form. Please refer to "Information Disclosure Procedures, Inquiries, and Complaints Desk" for requesting to disclose, to correct, and/or to cease the utilization of personal information.
Chapter 2 Handling Personal Information of European Union and the United Kingdom Participants
This Chapter 2 shall apply to the handling of personal information of participants residing in the EU (which means the European Union and other countries and/or regions in the European Economic Area, including Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway based on the Agreement on the European Economic Area) and the United Kingdom, in addition to Chapter 1. And Japan has received an adequacy decision from the European Commission stating that it offers an adequate level of data protection.
Article 8 Personal Information We Collect
1. Nikkei collects the registration information, participation data and survey data described in Article 2 as well as access data on the Announcement Page and distribution platform through cookies etc.
2. The specific types and purposes of the use of access data are described in the Cookie Policy. Some Announcement Page offers cookie settings. You can confirm the purpose of use and/or manage cookies via such cookies settings.
Article 9 Lawful basis for Handling Personal Information – your consent etc. – —your right to withdraw the consent
1. You are deemed to have agreed to our handling of your personal information when you indicate your consent to the Privacy Policy, and Nikkei handles your personal information based on such consent by you. You have the right to withdraw your consent to process your personal information anytime, but this will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before withdrawal of the consent. To exercise this right, please contact us by the way set forth in Article 13.
2. When you are under the age of sixteen (16), Nikkei shall obtain your parent or guardian’s consent regarding your participation in the Event and this privacy policy on behalf of you or you should obtain the permission of your parent or guardian to give consent to your participation in the Event and your consent for this privacy policy.
Article 10 Necessity of your Provision of Personal Information
Personal information provided by participants is necessary for participation in this Event, and participants who do not provide their personal information may not be able to participate in this Event.
Article 11 Cross Border Transfer of Personal Information
Your personal information may be transferred to countries or jurisdictions outside your residence area including Japan for the purpose outlined in this Privacy Policy. Please note that such countries or jurisdictions may not have the same data protection laws as your residence area and might not afford many of the rights conferred upon you in your residence area. We will put in place sufficient safeguards to protect your personal information that is transferred in this way, by concluding standard contract clauses based on GDPR.
Article 12 Your Rights
1. You have the right to (1) access your personal information, (2) request to correct, add, delete, exercise data portability rights, (3) suspend use, and (4) suspend provision to third parties.
2. You will not be treated discriminatorily by exercising these rights.
3. If you wish to exercise any of the rights above, please contact us by the way set forth in Article 13. Please note that we cannot accept your requests if you come to our office directly.
4. You can lodge a complaint with your data protection authority if you have a complaint regarding our processing of your personal information.

Chapter 3 Handling Personal Information of California Participants
This Chapter 3 shall apply to the handling of personal information of participants residing in California in accordance with the provisions of the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 and California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (Collectively, “CPRA”), in addition to Chapter 1.
Article 15. The Rights of California Participants regarding the Personal Information
1. Right to Know About Personal Information Collected, Disclosed, or Sold
You have the right to request that Nikkei disclose what personal information about you is collected, used, disclosed and sold, if any, in the preceding 12 months. Your request(s) may include a request for any or all of the following:
(1) Specific pieces of personal information that we have collected about you;
(2) Categories of personal information we have collected about you;
(3) Categories of sources from which the personal information is collected;
(4) Categories of personal information that we sold or disclosed for a business purpose about you, if any;
(5) Categories of third parties to whom the personal information was sold or disclosed for a business purpose, if any; and
(6) The business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling personal information, if any.
2. Right to Request Deletion of Personal Information
You have the right to request the deletion of your personal information collected by us.
3. Right to Request Correction of Inaccurate Personal Information
If we hold inaccurate personal information about you, you have the right to request us to correct such inaccurate personal information, taking into account the nature of the personal information and the purposes of the processing of the personal information.
4. Right to Opt-Out of the Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
You have the right to opt-out of the sale and sharing of your personal information by us.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under the age of 16 unless the participant has affirmatively authorized the sale or sharing of its personal information.
5. Right to Non-Discrimination for the Exercise of a Consumer’s Privacy Rights.
You have a right not to receive discriminatory treatment by us for the exercise of the privacy rights conferred by CPRA.
6. Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information
In the event that the Event is held on an event distribution platform operated by Nikkei, Nikkei will obtain the account information of participants on that platform. Account information is the sensitive personal information in accordance with CPRA. You may request Nikkei to limit its use to what is necessary for the provision of services. However, Nikkei uses such account information only for user authentication on the event distribution platform, and this use is necessary for participating in this event. In addition, since the password included in the account information is hashed and stored in the system of the platform, Nikkei cannot know the original password.
7. Methods for Submitting Requests to Know, Requests to Correct and Requests to Delete.
You can exercise your rights which are set forth in subsection 1, 2 and 3 of this Article 15 by contacting the Service Desk of this Event on the Announcement Page.
You may submit the request to know, the request to correct and/or the request to delete by yourself or through an authorized agent with the written permission signed by you. Nikkei will respond to the verified request which may be verified that you are the consumer about whom Nikkei has collected such required information. Please check the Service Desk for more details about the methods for submitting requests to know, requests to correct and requests to delete. The right of opt-out is set forth in Article 17.
Article 16. Personal Information We Collected
