Dana R. Fisher
Professor of Sociology, the Director of the Program for Society and the Environment at the University of Maryland
Dana R. Fisher is a Professor in the Sociology Department at the University of Maryland. Her research focuses on questions related to democracy, activism, and climate politics. Recent projects include a study of responses to climate change by political elites in the US, the emergence of the Civilian Climate Corps, and activism and protest around a range of issues.
Professor Fisher has authored over sixty-five research papers and book chapters and has written six books. She currently serves as a Contributing Author for Working Group 3 of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change's Sixth Assessment Review (IPCC AR6) writing about citizen engagement and civic activism. In 2021-22, she is a Nonresident Senior Fellow with the Governance Studies program at The Brookings Institution. Her media appearances include CNN, MSNBC, PBS Newshour, the HillTV, and various programs on NPR. Her work has appeared in media outlets including the Washington Post, TIME Magazine, Politico, Slate, Business Insider and the American Prospect.

Jessica Cheng
Vice President, Sustainability & ESG, Citi
Jessica is Vice President on the Sustainability and ESG team at Citi, where her work focuses on the bank's sustainable finance initiatives. She leads the accounting and impact reporting processes for Citi's commitment of $1 trillion to sustainable finance by 2030, and manages Citi's green and social bond reporting. She engages with global banking teams, corporate functions, and external stakeholders to provide strategic subject matter expertise and drive awareness of ESG and sustainable finance activities.Prior to her current role, Jessica was an internal audit manager at Citi, covering the banking, capital markets and advisory business and regulatory reform programs. Before that, she was at KPMG, where she provided audit services to multinational banking and broker-dealer clients in New York and Tokyo.
Jessica has an M.S. in Sustainability Management from Columbia University, and a B.S. in Accountancy from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Norichika Kanie
Professor, Graduate School of Media and Governance, Keio University
He is also a representative of xSDG Laboratory, Keio Research Institute at SFC.
Before joining Keio, he worked at the Graduate School of Decision Science And Technology, Tokyo Institute of Technology, and Department of Policy Studies, the University of Kitakyushu.
He serves various committees and steering groups, including: a member of the SDGs Promotion Roundtable Meeting, established by the Japanese government under the SDGs Promotion Headquarters; a member of the Expert Study Group for the Promotion of SDGs by Local Governments for Japanese Cabinet Office. His research focuses on International Relations, Sustainability Science and Earth System Governance. He has participated in the formulation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the common goals adopted by the United Nations, from the conception stage. He is a leading authority on the SDGs, and is striving to balance research and practice. His recent publication is 「SDGs(Sustainable Development Goals)」(Chukoshinsho, 2020) Norichika Kanie was appointed 15 independent scientists to draft the second quadrennial Global Sustainable Development. He received his Ph.D. in Media and Governance from the Keio University.
